Amanda Mair bring ideas of a what a young, Swedish Dusty Springfield produced by Kate Bush might have sounded like if she arrived today. With melodies lit by sunlight and a voice that goes straight to the heart this is nothing less than pure magic.
Only 15 year old from an island outside Stockholm Amanda Mair didn't have any official record as an artist when we discovered her by pure luck in 2010. She had no bandcamp/myspace page, hadn't made any live shows or sent any demos to labels or press. She did however record a few songs with friend of Labrador who - blissed out - later played us the recordings. For that we're thankful!

Amanda followed up with the single "Doubt" in October 2011. "The singer's new track 'Doubt' is such a subtly fantastic song, so beautifully executed, so immediately moving and so impossible to listen to once without feeling the need to listen to it again and again and again for at least half an hour, that we are going to make it Song Of The Day every single day this week."POPJUSTICE
The debut album is produced by Philip Ekström and will be out in the spring of 2012.
